Coming to the genesis of La Goose, Jan Steele is celiac and consultant in nutritional therapy. Her desire? Opening a gluten-free hotel and restaurant with a local, gastronomic and French cuisine. With a chief background, she specializes herself in gluten-free (with no traces or cross-contaminations). Jan prepares everything herself, she even makes her own gluten-free flour in her mill. Since Jan does not consume milk, there is always a dairy-free option (with no cow's milk protein, lactose-free) on her menu and she can adapt to many allergens on demand (try her!). From breakfast to diner, you will always have something to eat without worrying about meals!
The stays are by reservation only, from Thursday to Sunday, with different themes. A "family" focus for celiac children to spend holidays like everyone else and interact with other celiac children. Same principle for adults with wine tastings, yoga retreats. Jan also offers cooking workshops: baking, pastry, gluten-free pizza, lactose-free and even without eggs.
While waiting for the house to be renovated, only the table d'hôte is open but she has allied herself with the area rentals for accommodation. La Goose welcomes you in its kitchen for every meal: breakfast, lunch, snack, aperitif, dinner and even packed lunch if you wish.
