Caffé Shop is Italy in a fast-food version! In his restaurant, Gian Paolo, offers traditional Italian dishes, to take away or to eat on the spot. Indulge yourself with gluten-free gnocchi, lasagna, foccacias and pizzas by the side or whole (heart-shaped)!
If the restaurant is not 100% gluten free, everything is done to reduce the risk of cross-contamination: preparation of gluten-free in a separate laboratory, with dedicated equipment. The pizza is baked in a two-chamber oven - the top one is exclusively for gluten-free pizzas. Beware if you are allergic to wheat, the gluten-free flour mix that is used contains gluten-free wheat starch. All the products used are gluten-free. Once cooked, everything is stored in the same showcase, but the gluten free is at the top, on the side and on separate board.
Beware, an extra charge of 3 euros will be asked for gluten-free dishes.
Beyond the gluten-free, several dishes are also without egg: gnocchi, lasagna, foccacias and pizzas. For milk and lactose, the chef can adapt - except for the lasagna, which base is bechamel. Pizzas can be served with buffalo cheese or simply without cheese. Same for meat that can be removed or replaced by another ingredient.
The whole team was made aware of gluten intolerance. And works only fresh products and most often organic. Everything is homemade.
As for drinks, you can ask for a gluten-free Italian beer (deglutenized).
Finally, gourmands will not resist desserts - all are gluten-free (except tiramisu speculoos): lemon meringue pie, tarte tatin, panacotta, cheesecake con mascarpone ... But here again beware of wheat starch for allergic. The only dessert without milk / lactose / egg at the moment: fresh fruit salad.
