In the Basson family, ask for the mother, the father and children! Almost all are coeliac! As a result, not a trace of gluten at home or in any of the preparations of Maison Basson. Mélanie is a crepe maker and home-caterer. Her speciality? The cake of pancakes. A recipe from her grandmother! Melanie offers a variety of gluten-free pancakes, sweet or salty. Taste spinach, sausage and tomato meat pancake or sweet potato, chicken and mushrooms pancake. On the sweet side, let yourself be tempted by the traditional but highly requested chocolate or caramelized apples pancake.
Beware, Melanie cooks only on request! You can order 24 hours in advance, by phone, email or messenger. Then you can pick up your order directly to Maison Basson in Romans-sur-Isère, or be delivered in the surrounding cities (Bourg-de-Peage, Mours-Saint-Eusebe ...). Some Sundays, Mélanie distributes on the Church’s place.
Every day Melanie cooks crepes, galettes and pancakes - always from local produce, seasonal, and certified gluten-free flours and products. All toppings are home-made (jams and sauces). Try its pancakes with verbena!
Every Sunday, Maison Basson offers gluten-free dishes, which varies every week: gratin, pizza (vegetarian, tuna or ham), pies ... On request, Melanie can also cook gluten-free lasagna or couscous ... All orders for Sunday are to be held on Saturday at the latest.
Maison Basson easily adapts its cuisine: crepes, galettes or pancakes can be without egg or dairy products (just prepared with sparkling water!), without soy or even without nuts (beware of traces for allergic, as Melanie can use almond milk or nut oil in her preparation) or low sugar, and some dishes can be without salt. Just specify her your adaptation when ordering.
Beyond the creperie at home, Maison Basson also officiates as a caterer for buffets, cocktails ... Mélanie then moves in a fairly wide area from the Drôme, to the Ardèche, through the Isère. She brings with her all her crepe maker material to avoid risk of contaminations. If necessary, she installs a small circus tent, for a friendly atmosphere.
